This was a big commercial disappointment for both Tom Cruise and Ron Howard, but its one of Howard’s most underrated films that never fails to entertain anytime I watch it. I saw this film in theaters upon its initial release and because it was shot on Super Panavision 70mm, the film looked spectacular on the big screen. It loses a lot on the small screen, but overall it still holds up as a classic Hollywood style historical drama. The following is my favorite scene from the film, which again, looked especially awesome on the big screen.
